Today is the first day of Fleet Week! There are sailors EVERYWHERE. It's getting difficult to thank everyone without taking ten minutes to walk a block.
And there's lots of firepower docked right down the street from where I'm staying. Very impressive.

Don't talk about sailors. Some people may believe that you've taken that leap from "metrosexual" to... well, you know what I mean.

Would that really be a leap?

Why not talk about sailors? They're defending our country, and I was glad to see them getting a little R&R in NYC. They deserve it, and our thanks. And besides, there were a lot of women sailors floating around as well, I wasn't just talking about the men.

I love Fleet Week. When I was in highschool my friends and I would leave school during the week and head down to South Street Sea Port to check out the sailors wondering around down there. Ah what fun!
